I bought the DVD from Amazon. This DVD has NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!!

Still, it is a beautiful movie. Hopefully I will be able to exchange it.

If the disc has English subtitles, they are very well hidden. There is no option for them on the main menu, they aren’t indicated anywhere on the packaging, and I dug through the subtitle options directly via media player menus and found nothing. The Subtitles menu was empty.

I’m personally fluent in Japanese so the lack of translation just means I can’t share this with friends who don’t know the language. Kinda sucks.

Again, amazing movie, questionable disc quality.
