If you know anything at all about Japanese cult movies, you probably know about the SUKEBAN DEKA movies and TV series, which were derived from a manga back from 1972. The anime goes back to the source and brings it kicking and screaming into the Nineties. It’s violent, funny, bizarre, and extremely enjoyable in many different ways. A good introduction to anime, actually!

Intersting story, it has a lot of action and good characters especially Saki the main character. drawn well. She becomes a cop and there’s more to it than that. See it for yourself.
