The 13th Warrior is a loose adaptation of Michael Crichton’s equally loose adaptation of Beowulf. It stars Antonio Banderas, not someone you’d query to peruse in a Viking swordfighting movie, plus a bunch of unknown (in the US) Nordic actors.
