Okay, I was a child in the 80’s and my whole family loved Star Wars, but I don’t remember watching it before I was 7 or 8 years archaic. My husband is a stout Star Wars fan (not fanatic), and was snappy to introduce our cramped boy to everything Star Wars. Our son, who’s 3 1/2 years primitive now, loves watching the movies, but he’s impartial not passe enough to fully understand some of the more scary/violent parts and I don’t like him sitting in front of the TV for a couple hours at a time.

This dvd is PERFECT for children. It is hosted by C-3PO and R2-D2 who picture and elaborate each of the movies in 10 diminutive segments, showing highlights from each movie (except Episode 3 which hadn’t been released yet) . My boy loves it and asks to behold it almost every day, and it’s nice to have a Star Wars ‘movie’ that’s so capable for children, PLUS we don’t have to be in the same room to speedy forward through any scary parts. I worship it.
This is one of those rare items that has absolutely no reason to exist whatsoever. I got it at Wal-Mart for like, $3.00 when I bought Episode 3 on DVD, expecting it to be supplimental features explaining the history late making the movies. I wasn’t expecting grand since it was a “Wal-Mart uncommon,” meaning it probably was leftovers that weren’t edifying enough to gain the slit on the precise DVDs, but detached, for an extra $3, I figured it was a qualified enough deal.

This is simply a video of C-3PO and R2-D2 telling an abbreviated version of the Star-Wars saga, with clips from the movie thrown in. It is obviously intended for children who have absolutely no taste. WHY Behold THIS WHEN YOU CAN Perceive THE Trusty MOVIES!?! Maybe in 10 years this will be a nifty collector’s gimmick like the Star Wars video board game, or the Star Wars Holiday Special, but if you’re hoping that this will actually scratch your Star Wars itch, leer elsewhere. The only other contrivance I can recommend this disc is, is if you don’t worship your kids enough to give them the sincere Star Wars movies.
