Currently, the majority of the reviews on this page are weak attempts at warning readers that this is not the brain dreary droll CGI-fest that was released in 2008 starring Edward Norton. I’m here to say that I know exactly which Hulk movie page I’m on, and I know exactly which Hulk movie Blu-ray I’ll be purchasing over the other, thank you very great.

When I saddled up for the amble into High Definition, Blu-ray was already victorious over HD-DVD, and Ang Lee’s Hulk (2003) was currently peculiar to the lifeless format. Many a days I sulked, thinking they would never release Hulk on Blu-ray for me to soak in its breathtaking vistas and vibrant colors in High-definition. Then, August 1st, 2008 came around, and to my large excitement, it was announced that Blu was the original green. In my belief, this movie was made for hi-def. I salivate simply at the belief of viewing the Hulk traipse across the Utah desert in a seamless blend of CG and nature cinematography excellent of Planet Earth. It is apparent that the team of filmmakers slack this project approached it as a work of art, rather than a shallow popcorn funny book movie to invent a mercurial buck. More films in Hollywood should be created in this fashion.
Beyond that of being stunning visually, the Hulk also sets itself apart from the rest by being a heartfelt tale that no Marvel comic-book adaptation could ever dream of being. Which is what turned many icy to the movie true off the bat. This was a humorous book movie that could actually live and breath on its maintain, rather than rely on CGI and tacky “Hulk Rupture” dialogue. It attacked deep, psychological problems, making the proper battle being that of Bruce Banner vs. The Hulk, instead of CGI green mass vs CGI brown mass with an anti-climactic accomplish.

If you’re Blu, I highly recommend giving this film a conception. It is glide to sign with its striking palette and intense action sequences. I am quite positive it will be added to my little collection of demo material for the Blu-ray format.
