The DSA has been taking more and more perilous assignments in an inconvenience to live up to their name, but they unprejudiced might have bitten off a petite too powerful in this last volume of Mezzo. After escorting a traditional diamond encrusted mummy worth millions which happens to be cursed, our heroes have to confront a enigmatic hitman/boy who has a crush on Miruka. His target seems to be Kurokawa, but for what reason? Even the cops begin turning against the DSA, turning them into wanted fugitives. Impartial how far does the corruption urge? There is a ray of hope in all this despair. Asami! Yes, the dinky shocked, whispering, miniature girl who was getting beat up by some of her classmates in the first episode. She’s even got her enjoy costume and Mikura is training her in martial arts. She’ll have to understand that by her standing up for herself, she is standing up for her friends too. And she unbiased might ruin up saving her idol Mikura’s life.

Mezzo has never been troubled about referencing other facets of pop culture but this series isn’t really about depth and philosophy. It’s about action and it’s a fun waddle in that respect. I really enjoyed seeing Asami evolve into a stronger individual. Seeing as how her family disappears for a month at a time on business trips, the DSA and Mikura especially had to become her role models and family. I don’t know if that’s such a reliable thing but at least they care for her. They witness worth in her where noone else does. It’s fitting that the series ends with her, unbiased as it began.
