This product sounded so obliging, but boy does it lack. Of the three DVD’s that all claim to be 50 minutes, one is 38 minutes with a lot of filler, and another is 42 minutes with some filler. Although some of the costumes and scenery are nice, the quality of the filming is unpleasant. This all could have been done with less filler on one DVD and it would have been more appetizing. As it is, when they tried to stretch each topic to try to possess up terminate to half a DVD, the lack of organization and the excess filler made this situation a really broad raze of money. The studio needs to edit out the filler and release it again on one DVD for less than half the heed to even arrive stop to making this worth watching.

This is a very tantalizing movie for anyone enthusiastic in flying or learning to flit. This would be substantial movie to reveal to those who wonder why in the heck you would want to glide in a exiguous plane. The movie also explains the importance of General Aviation airports and the role they play in our national infrastructure. It has substantial photography and was very well researched.

To say that this movie is by Sydney Pollack is a bit misleading. He had a very minor role in being interviewed for a few minutes but he obviously has a large “star power” name. It is really the work of the Director, Brian Terwilliger. I was fortunate enough to hear him introduce this film at the AOPA convention in Palm Springs. This is his first film and he really did everything he could to perform this happen. Anyone alive to in aviation would derive this a gargantuan movie!

If you are a pilot or impartial someone who is fascinated by aviation this movie is a must survey. It explains why I coast better than I can hiss it myself. A very entertaining myth about the evolution of an airport. It makes you realize impartial how precious these local GA airports are and how they are disappearing very mercurial.

1942

1. The Village Smithy - Donald is a smithy who is continually frustrated in his work on a wagon wheel and trying to shoe a donkey.

2. Donald’s Snow Fight - When Donald destroys his nephews’ snowman, the snow fight escalates into Donald’s snow ship attacking the nephews’ snow fort. The nephews net the fight, with hilarious results. My approved of the Donald/nephews conflict cartoons.

3. * Donald Gets Drafted - Donald eagerly obeys his army induction order, but soon suffers through a humiliating physical and a sadistic drill sergeant. I always got a laugh out of Donald reporting to an army induction in his sailor suit.

4. Donald’s Garden - Donald continually has gardening problems - first, with his watering can and water pump; and then with a gopher who eats his prize watermelons.

5. Donald’s Gold Mine - Donald’s conflicts with his donkey in his gold mine results in finding gold; but, in the kill, Donald looks like one of his bars of gold.

6. * The Vanishing Private - Donald uses invisible paint to hide an anti-aircraft gun. His sergeant Pete angrily chases an invisible Donald. Pete finally loses his temper by throwing grenades where he thinks Donald is. Donald gets the last laugh when a general has Pete thrown into jail, with Donald as the guard.

7. * Sky Trooper - Donald continually bugs his sergeant Pete by saying he “wants to hover an airplane”. Pete tricks Donald into being a member of a parachuting team. When Donald refuses to jump and Pete tries to force him out of the plane, both Donald and Pete drop out without a parachute. As they tumble, they dislodge a bomb, which destroys the general’s headquarters. Donald and Pete both slay up doing KP peeling potatoes.

8. + Bellboy Donald - After Donald’s hotel manager gives him a lecture about Donald’s impoliteness to the guests, Donald is taunted continually by Junior, Senator Pete’s son. Donald controls his temper until the very raze, when Donald ends up spanking Junior after Donald has lost his temper and his job.

9. * Der Fuehrer’s Face - Donald has a nightmare that he is living in Nazi Germany, where everything (buildings, trees, clouds, etc.) is shaped like a swastika. He dreams of bayonet discipline, starvation, hard labor on a munitions assembly line, and having to “Heil Hitler” every limited of the day. He awakens to glean himself delighted to be a U.S. citizen. This is a very effective propaganda cartoon and is also an intelligent, silly cartoon. It is the only Donald Duck cartoon to gain an Academy Award.

10. Donald’s Tire Inconvenience - While speeding through the countryside, Donald has a flat tire. Due to the wartime rubber shortage, Donald has several hilarious misadventures in trying to fit the flat.

11. Flying Jalopy - Donald buys a contaminated plane from Ben Buzzard, who makes Donald’s life insurance out to Ben and then proceeds to try to rupture the plane while Donald is flying it.

12. * Plunge Out - Drop In - Donald suffers through the drudgery of the life of a soldier, including impossibly long marches through all types of weather. Donald wrestling with his tent while trying to pitch it is hilarious.

13. * The Aged Army Game - His sergeant Pete catches Donald sneaking help into his barracks after curfew. Donald takes off, with Pete chasing him, with amusing and bright results.

14. * Home Defense - Donald, a civilian war aircraft spotter, falls asleep at his post. His nephews trick him by launching a toy plane and toy parachutists to execute Donald contemplate there is an enemy attack. Several silly scenes follow.

15. Trombone Exertion - The gods Vulcan and Jupiter are kept awake by Pete’s terrible trombone playing, so they give Donald the power to discontinuance Pete. After Donald wins, he picks up the trombone and starts playing it himself. One of the funniest Donald/Pete conflict cartoons.

16. Donald Duck and the Gorilla - Donald and his nephews dread each other with a fraudulent gorilla suit when the radio announces that a gorilla has escaped from the zoo. But a frantic plug begins when the exact gorilla shows up.

17. Contrary Condor - Donald Duck, an egg collector, pretends to be a baby condor when the mother condor catches him trying to lift one of her eggs. Very amusing scenes follow of Donald trying to come by out of his spot.

18. * Commando Duck - Donald is given a secret mission to wipe out a Japanese airbase. Unfortunately for Donald, he isn’t told how he is supposed to execute this alone. There are several very imaginative scenes that follow, resulting in Donald wiping out the airbase.

19. The Plastics Inventor - Donald bakes a plastic airplane from radio instructions and proudly goes out to try it. But several hilarious scenes follow as the plane melts in a rain storm.

20. Donald’s Off Day - Donald’s nephews and the weather continually frustrate his efforts to go golfing.

21. The Clock Watcher - Donald works as a department store gift wrapper, but his job is threatened by his tardiness, laziness, playing with the merchandise, and the gifts fair refusing to be wrapped.

22. The Eyes Have It - Donald mistreats Pluto by using hypnotism glasses to change Pluto into different animals. Pluto turns the tables on Donald and chases him when Pluto is changed into a lion.

23. Donald’s Crime - Donald, needing money for a date with Daisy, steals from his nephews’ piggy bank. After the date, his conscience makes him secure an all-night dishwashing job to obtain the money to build assist into the piggy bank. But Donald doesn’t gain away with his theft - the nephews gain him putting the money assist into the bank and thinks he’s stealing the money.

24. + Duck Pimples - A fun and imaginative cartoon in which characters in a assassinate mystery book approach to life and Donald is accused of the crime.

25. No Soar - One of my common Donald/Goofy cartoons. They rent a sailboat that runs on nickels. After they speed out of nickels, there are several frustrations for Donald due to Goofy being droll and clumsy.

26. Cured Duck - Daisy refuses to gawk Donald again until he is cured from his bad temper. Donald uses an “insult” machine to cure himself. He returns to Daisy cured, but then has to deal with her temper.

27. Faded Sequoia - Forest ranger Donald is fired after many misadventures in trying to prevent some beavers from destroying a sequoia tree.

1946

28. Donald’s Double Exertion - Daisy breaks up with Donald due to his numerous faults. Donald meets his “sophisticated” double and uses him to obtain succor Daisy’s treasure. The trick backfires when the double falls in esteem with Daisy.

29. Wet Paint - Donald gets into a war with a bird that destroys Donald’s fresh car paint job and uphostery while gathering material for her nest. Donald gives up when he sees her nest fleshy of her baby birds.

30. Listless Bell of the Yukon - Artic trapper Donald gets the worry he deserves when he takes a cub from a sleeping mother to build a fur coat for Daisy. Several comic scenes follow when the mother fill chases Donald.

31. Lighthouse Keeping - Donald, a lighthouse keeper, must deal with a pelican who is trying to douse the lighthouse light. As usual, Donald causes his believe problems by first playing tricks on the bird.

32. Frank Duck Brings ‘Em Support Alive - Donald loses his sanity in trying to buy “wild man of the jungle” Goofy.

These cartoons are among Donald’s funniest and most imaginative. These Walt Disney Treasures sets of the Disney cartoons are among the best bargains of any DVD dwelling. I bear these cartoons since VHS tapes of the 1980s and the Disney Channel cartoon shows and mild bask in them after watching them for many years. I very great gaze forward to the DVD sound and characterize quality that these Walt Disney Appreciate sets have had.

The Disney treasures collection is the best and cheapest procedure of getting the entire series to their golden age shorts.

On Donald’s DVDS their is one short clasified as mickey not seen in mickeys collection being it does not star mickey which you will view in the list and understand better if you read my Mickey Colored Esteem Reviews, also the ones clasified as War are seen in the ON THE FRONT LINES Disney Esteem release. the episodes seen on the front lines DVD of Donald based on the war which are not clasified as war in the below list were aloof share of his regular series which is why they are repeated on his bear general release even though already on the front lines, but the ones clasified as war in the below list are only seen on the front lines DVD because they were not piece his regular series, they were commercials made for the war.

These are absolutely astounding movies. Our family of seven is enjoying “Flywheel” and “Facing the Giants” multiple times. My husband and I saw “Fireproof” in the theater and were deeply touched. We are SO grateful this church and community has had the conviction, courage, and inspiration to perform messages that are so timely for our world. A lot of lives will be touched through these films when viewers start their hearts to the truths presented. We’re giving copies to friends and family.

I impartial saw this in the theater and am murky that in bigger towns and cities this will probably not pick up the speed it needs. I watched it with many in the theater who cried and laughted and said extraordinary things — and with some that it looked like it might have touched but they’ve been too “touched” by the world and our society - and they assign on a blank face, blinked abet any imprint of tears and said - “oh, it was okay”. these are the people, as we all are, who are hurting in this world and too proud or stubborn or sold on the “world” to ask for attend, admit they need benefit or win befriend. Please maintain them all in your prayers — and I will maintain you in mine! HRS

Having unbiased seen the sneak preview screenings of the english language reversioning of Fullmetal Alchemist - Conqueror of Shamballa, I can say without reservation that it is a thrilling and must-see epilogue/ending capping off what is without ask one of the greatest masterpieces of anime. However, DO NOT Open your exploration of this sage with this movie. Some of the things that create this yarn so immense are its character development, yarn arc, pacing, and unexpected twists of status. To be properly appreciated, Fullmetal Alchemist MUST be seen in sequence from episode 1 through episode 51, and THEN this movie. If you try to notice this movie before seeing the series, not only will you fetch it largely incomprehensible, but knowledge of what happens will SPOIL many of the surprises that await in those 51 episodes. Virtually no backstory is provided; viewers are assumed to have seen the series.

All the charm and wonder of the series is here in this film. All the tell actors from the english reversioning of the series were brought serve to declare their characters for the movie. The care and attention to detail shown by both the recent creators and the reversioners is much to say the least. I only wished it was longer. The record legend of the Fullmetal Alchemist, in its entirety, will stand for decades as a monument to and inspiration for what can be achieved in this medium. This film is the final coda at the kill of all its symphonic glory.

Note: this may possess minor spoilers. That said, the FMA movie brings a cessation to the storyline left commence at the slay of episode 51 of the TV series. It has fine visuals and a trustworthy soundtrack, nicely rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. It picks up three years after the raze of the television series and wraps up loose ends surrounding the gate, Hoenheim, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Ed, and Al. Despite the fact that it was written by the same staff who created the series, the movie does have a different “feel” to it (especially since alchemy can’t be weak for a pleasant allotment of the film) . If you liked the series, you’ll definitely indulge in (at least most of) the movie. Fans who are looking for romantic relationships are going to be disappointed as the staff seemed to focus more on the bond between the two brothers.

For the broad fans of the series, this special edition will definitely be a highlight to your collection, as it will believe a hard-bound book, several character “portrait cards”, and a bonus DVD with multiple commentaries and interviews with the Japanese cast and crew, as well as the American staff. It also has a nice portrait of Ed on the veil of the box (the same that was ragged for the Japanese ltd. ed. release) .

I would highly recommend this film to anyone who likes Fullmetal Alchemist; despite what I saw as the film’s few shortcomings, it was serene a genuine movie overall.

overlooked game
This is a game I’ve had since it came out originally in 2005, and I keep coming back to it. The action is great, the graphics hold up well, and the squad controls (and the squad members themselves) are brilliant and very easy to use. This game also holds the distinction of being the only shooter I’ve died in because I was laughing at something (fortunately dying is no big deal since your squad members can resuscitate you…unless they go down too)

As a star wars game, it succeeds brilliantly in capturing a much more in-the-trenches feel of the clone wars than the movies even though it takes us to the same places (geonosis and kashyyyk). This is partially because with one small, green exception there are no jedi in the game, which leaves you and your squad to do all the work without any forcepowered cheating The other thing that bears pointing out is your squadmates themselves. Despite being clones, they all have a unique character and provide a good amount of comic relief, Sev and Scorch especially. They’re very much one of the strengths of this game.

There’s a technical problem with nvidia 8000 series graphics cards where you have to set the bump mapping to low or the game won’t play. Hopefully that’ll be fixed in a driver update sometime soon.

The worst thing about the game is the ending leaves it wide open for a sequel…and three years on, no word of one. Delta squad has appeared in the republic commando novel series, so, their future may play out there. Still hoping for Imperial Commando, though

Great action plus interesting strategy elements
A really fun game, very well designed.

Three Star Wars locations are explored: a desert planet, a huge spaceship, and the Wookie jungle planet. I liked the environments a lot. I think the sign of a great shooter is how well you remember certain locations, almost feeling as if you’ve actually been there. This doesn’t match the genius of Half Life, but it’s quite good.

The enemies are interesting. There are several types of droids, some flying insectoids, and some orc-like creatures. Each is vulnerable to a different type of attack. Animation and graphics are really strong in this game - very realistic.

The action is intense, but there are plenty of places to take a breath, too. I consider this a challenging game, even on Easy. There are times when you and your team are scrambling madly to hack into a computer while fighting off waves of enemies.

And speaking of the team, they might be the best part of the game. You get a nice level of control, and it’s very easy to designate soldiers to snipe or grenade, or to heal you, each other or themselves. It’s a very nice addition of strategy.

Sounds are great, and the voice work (done by the actor who played Jango Fett in the movie) is excellent. He has an Australian accent, which somehow works perfectly in this military sci-fi game.

All in all, this really is excellent, and as of late 2008, you could get this game for about $10. A no brainer - a very nicely done shooter.

Well designed, fairly high-end, squad based shooter
I’m not a big fan of Star Wars and I’m only lukewarm to squad based shooters, but this game did a nice job of making the squad a useful addition with a short learning curve on giving them directions. They can revive you if you’re incapacitated and you can revive them to keep up team strength.

Many typical FPS weapons were included: Standard was a pistol with infinite energy-based ammo and common through out the game were assault weapons with separate sniper and grenade attachments (which counted as separate weapons with different ammo), rocket launchers, and various grenades. Less common were bigger brothers of these weapons that you usually retrieved after killing certain enemies. There were also turrets that could be captured and used.

Health is available at health stations throughout the game. You can also direct your squad to charge up their health. The health stations do not become depleted with use, so you can go back to reuse them if you need to rather than waiting to come across a new one. They also come in groups of two or three allowing you to restore the health of multiple squad members at one time.

The settings were nicely created, but not stunning. There are a variety of enemies throughout the game, and while some are pretty difficult to kill, there are no level bosses. This game reminded me of Halo in the sense that some of the enemies seemed almost cartoonish. Voice acting was about average, but there were some funny lines that were entertaining even though they were repeated a bit often.

Graphics are smooth, but not particularly demanding for a higher end system (I have a 3GHz core 2 duo and dual SLI-linked GPUs). There were no patches required and I had no problems at all on my Vista x64 system. The game loads quickly and offers manual saves, quick saves, and regularly saves automatically at checkpoints that are fairly frequent. It tells you when you’ve reached a checkpoint, but it doesn’t overtly say on-screen when you hit the quick save key. I would have liked the feedback, but that is only the most minor of complaints.

I found the game to be fun, well crafted, challenging at times, but generally not overly difficult. I thought it was quite long even by 2007 standards, which was also a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this game especially considering the $8 price I paid from one of the third-party sellers on Amazon. Definitely a lot of bang for the buck at that price.

It’s tall to have all of these classic games on DVD and be able to experience once again all of these classic moments that helped shape the history of the franchise and Busch Stadium itself.

The games are presented as they were seen on telivision with the commercial breaks edited out. The footage was taken from the new master tapes and do fill some minor visual and audio imperfections, as mentioned at the beginning of each disc. They are nothing to pains about however as they don’t win away any of the joy of being able to glance these games again.

The sixth disc, game 7 of the 2004 NLCS, contains all the special features including Hall of Fame moments, interviews and the Fox footage of Jim Edmonds’ dramatic game winning homer in Game 6.

This is a location that no Cardinals fan with a DVD player should be without.

In 1968, I was ten years former and living with my grandparents. I can remember sprinting home from school to recognize the raze of the first game of the World Series with the pitching match-up of 31-game winner Denny McLain and NL strikeout and ERA king Bob Gibson. By the time I got home, McLain was already out of the game! Of course, Gibson goes on to dwelling the WS strikeout describe dramatically in the top of the ninth inning. What’s so colossal now is that I’m watching it 40 years later on a 42″ plasma and not Grandma’s crappy stale b&w tv! The final four disc in the Utena storyline continue the novel anecdote of our hero Utena while further developing the other characters as well. While not containing some of the funnier moments embedded in The Unlit Rose Saga, the Apocalypse series focuses on bringing the viewer deeper into the history of Utena and it’s deeply interested mythology. The myth line can become a microscopic confusing advance the slay but the series wraps up in a touching and ultimately satisfying kill. The Apocalypse Saga will leave you gay for the experience and the best fragment, it will leave you wanting more of this qualified saga.

The roses, an excess of pink, incredibly feminine designs for all the characters (including the male ones), and its rather definite artistic style may turn some viewers away from Utena. It almost kept me from watching it, at first. But for some reason I bought the first DVD, and I have never regretted it.

Utena is a outlandish expose. You realize that within the first episode. It is surreal, dreamlike, and yet though it may seem random at times, there is procedure to the madness. It begins with a girl who met a prince when she was young. He gave her a ring that would lead her to him when she grew up. So impressed was she by him, that she decided to become a prince herself. Now that girl, Utena, dresses in a boy’s uniform and attends a school where all is not what it seems.

The sincere strength of Utena lies in its characters. There is a vast cast, and each character’s motivations and emotions are explored in different episodes. These are not the cardboard cutouts you get in a lot of anime; they are complex people, and their individual tales are often poignant. Utena also boasts one of the best villains I’ve ever seen in anime, rivaled only by Berserk’s Griffith. It is a shimmering reveal, with a lot of depth. There’s also some humor in it, and for people who like battle (like me), there are duels every episode or so. Usually these fights are fairly predictable, but they’re composed fun to recognize.

The last arc of the demonstrate has one of the best finales in any anime. It may leave the viewer a bit confused; but the dreamlike quality of the note is old-fashioned to very grand carry out here. For anyone who likes well-developed characters, something a diminutive different from usual, a satisfactory storyline with precise substance to it, Utena is an trustworthy anime.

This begins the second “season” of this legend. While it builds somewhat on the new storyline,it adds current plots but only a few original cast. It is less complicated than the first series and the fan service is somewhat subdued which alows more attention to be paid for the evolving narrative line.”Mou-chan”,long one of my favorites, begins to emerge as a more central character that grows further as this series continues into the third season. The lance-armed girl on the conceal also begins to rise in set space that continues throughout the entire series while Hukufu’s starring role is retained. This volume is a neccessary step in a continuing storyline that the devotees will not soon tire of.

Nice clean/fresh smelling cologne. Perfect for any occasion, although I would choose something else for evening wear personally. I wear this one daily at work or play. Definitely one for my rotation. I currently have Ed Hardy, Lacoste Essential, Tommy Bahama(Signature and Set Sail South Seas), Burberry, Weekend by Burberry, and Burberry Brit.
