pCars have been a part of American life since circa 1914 because of one man; Henry Ford. He revolutionized the production process of motor vehicles that was created by Ransom Olds, the owner of the Oldsmobile factory, which was debuted in 1902. The Ford production line was the predecessor to all other large-scale production lines that shell out different products such as airplanes, ships, trains and all types of electronics./ppThe Ford assembly line was so successful that it produced vehicles at a record pace; one car came off of the line every 15 minutes. This is in 1914, when developments in technology were still being discovered and tested across not only the United States but also the world. The only thing that was holding Ford back in production was waiting for the variety of colors to dry. So, he noticed that the black paint they were using dried quicker than the variety of other colors. Ford made an executive decision to use only black paint from that moment forward, hence the reason why all of the vehicles in the country at the onset of vehicular travel were black in color./ppFord’s first car was the Model T and it cost an assembly line worker only four months of pay to purchase the vehicle in 1914. Ford also instituted groundbreaking safety features and groundbreaking management strategies. Ford assigned each assembly line worker to a specific position so there would be less wandering throughout the line which would result in fewer injuries to his workers. If he had as many healthy workers as possible then the production work would be completed faster and faster./ppThe other groundbreaking idea that Ford had was how to effectively manage a work force. He paid higher wages, which resulted in higher production efficiency. This is known today as Fordism. Ford’s assembly line developments and management developments were only baby steps in the progression of b automobiles/b in the lives of Americans./ppAnother name in the history of American b automobiles/b is Alfred P. Sloan. Sloan came up with the idea that each individual company that manufactures cars should also offer different models to sell to their customers. Ford sold only the Model T at first but then added other models to his assembly line. This allowed the American people to purchase more luxurious cars as they moved up the class ladder of society./ppTaking a jump a couple of decades to 2002, the last time a vehicle survey was conducted, there were an estimated 590 million vehicles on the roads worldwide. The world has become more and more populated since Ford’s 1914 assembly line advancements, with worldwide population hitting the 6 billion mark during the last census in 2000. This of course means more vehicles on the roads for more licensed drivers. Cars have become ingrained in American society in this technology-driven world. They help people get from home to work, work to ballgames and anywhere in between. Cars have also caused damage in the ozone of the Earth and high amounts of pollution in the air from their exhaust fumes. Despite all of this cars are still Americans’ main mode of transportation./p pSee Also : a href=http://background-check.diggyblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Background CheckBackground Check/a a href=http://three.diggyblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=ThreeThree/a a href=http://golfzubehor.macpress.org/ rel=dofollow title=GolfzubehorGolfzubehor/a a href=http://pozdravlenyja.ru/lorenaruddy/ rel=dofollow title=http://pozdravlenyja.ru/lorenaruddy/http://pozdravlenyja.ru/lorenaruddy//a a href=http://garduweb.com/joshuagoff/ rel=dofollow title=http://garduweb.com/joshuagoff/http://garduweb.com/joshuagoff//a a href=http://blog.thaimuslim.com/cynthiamcclintock/ rel=dofollow title=http://blog.thaimuslim.com/cynthiamcclintock/http://blog.thaimuslim.com/cynthiamcclintock//a /p

pThere are a few Georgia auto insurance requirements to consider when shopping for a policy for your vehicle. These are standard necessities that the state has mandated in order for you to drive legally. The state minimum is all that you need to drive but it is always a good idea to consider getting a bigger policy./ppAll drivers in the state of Georgia must have liability insurance for each vehicle that they own and operate. This insurance is very important because it serves to help pay for injuries and property damage that may occur in the event of an accident. Liability insurance pays medical bills and for damages done to vehicles and other property./ppGeorgia Auto Insurance Minimums/ppMany drivers just want the minimum coverage that will allow them to drive legally in the state. The least amount you can purchase for your policy is 25,000 per person for injuries to the body and 50,000 for bodily injury for two or more people. Property damage must cover at least 25,000 dollars worth of damage./ppWhile some drivers used to try to operate their vehicles without insurance, modern technology has made this very difficult to do without being detected. The state can verify your insurance status by using the Internet. This resource offers quick, reliable information that is supplied by the Department of Revenue./ppSome drivers like to be a little conscientious especially after switching insurance plans. Consumers can check with the Department of Revenue by visiting its website. The process of verifying whether or not your insurance is well documented is an ideal way to cover your basis./ppMany drivers may be surprised to find out that they still need to carry a hard copy of proof of insurance. This is a necessary document that should accompany you at all times. Most people just keep a copy stored in the vehicle. This information is helpful in case of an accident or if you are pulled over by a police officer. The document is also necessary when traveling out of state./ppHaving adequate coverage is not only a relief but it is also the law. Georgia auto insurance is well documented and very important to maintain./p pMy Links : a href=http://bridal-gowns.diggyblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Bridal GownsBridal Gowns/a a href=http://bath.buvadone.com/ rel=dofollow title=BathBath/a a href=http://sonyahazlett.goldentrepreneur.net/ rel=dofollow title=http://sonyahazlett.goldentrepreneur.net/http://sonyahazlett.goldentrepreneur.net//a /p

pThe first car was created and it was good. A few days later, it broke down. That was bad. This led, of course, to the creation of the first mechanic./ppFrom the time German Engineer, Karl Benz, invented the first practical automobile to use an internal combustion engine, there has been a need for mechanics. A mechanic is defined as someone who provides repairs or maintenance to a machine. Benz’s made his first auto in 1885 and the history of the auto mechanic begins there for all practical purposes. Machines will break and they will do so even faster without care. Mechanics have always been with us and they have always repaired the engines we have used to help us with our work./ppb Automobiles/b were something totally different right from the start and the early mechanics were the same ones who had been repairing the horse drawn vehicles that they replaced. It did not take long for this to change. The automobile engine was something new and much more complex than the simple wagons and carriages. As b automobiles/b quickly began to spread out, mechanics began to specialize in their repair and maintenance./ppAn example of how rapid this spread was can be seen in the fact that auto mechanics formed a union in Seattle, Washington in 1917. A year later, this union had 250 members, but in just two year’s time, 1920, membership had grown to 500. Although auto mechanic unions never really caught on in the same way they did in the trucking or construction trades, these figures show how quickly the field of auto mechanics was growing./ppThe history of auto mechanics has followed the history of the automobile since these early days in the area of increased technology also. As b automobiles/b became more complex, the need for mechanics grew. In the 1940’s and 1950’s, whole generations of American boys grew up tinkering with b automobiles/b. It was like a rite of passage for several generations. A young man learned to care for his vehicle and many fell in love with them. This kept producing more and more mechanics, while at the same time holding back the field somewhat as do it yourself maintenance and repair were so common./ppIn the modern area, the automobile has become increasingly difficult to repair without expensive equipment and technical knowledge. The computer and electronic driven elements of the vehicles have changed the nature of the automobile mechanic. This is reflected in the fact the term, Auto Technician, has largely replaced auto mechanic in most shops. Although this might seem to be just words, it does actually show how the field of auto mechanics has evolved from its early days where the majority of the work could be done with a wrench and most teenage boys could make a broken car run without much trouble./p pVisit : a href=http://international-business.macpress.org/ rel=dofollow title=International BusinessInternational Business/a a href=http://business-travel.ipacapao.com/ rel=dofollow title=Business TravelBusiness Travel/a a href=http://dellachrisman.sportsbigscreen.com/ rel=dofollow title=http://dellachrisman.sportsbigscreen.com/http://dellachrisman.sportsbigscreen.com//a /p

pstrongKeep divorced wife in a safe car?/strong/ppDear Dave,/ppMy wife is divorcing me, and we just had our first baby boy. I feel it’s my responsibility to take care of her until the divorce is final and to keep her in a safe vehicle. Right now she’s driving a 1982 Honda Civic, and it’s so small any kind of wreck could be a disaster. I’m thinking about buying her a new car. What do you think?/ppMike/ppDear Mike,/ppI’m really sorry you guys are going through all this, especially with a new baby in the mix. I appreciate your nobility and attitude about the situation, but you need to realize that once you’re divorced, it’s no longer your responsibility to take care of your wife. Divorce carries a lot of emotional stress and worry for everyone involved, but I don’t think buying her a new car will solve anything. It may actually lead her to expect even more from you later on down the road./ppI’m going to take a wild guess that the truth of the matter is you’re worried about your child, and this whole thing is breaking your heart. That’s natural, Mike, and it means you love your baby. But a safe car doesn’t have to mean a brand-new car. You could put her in a 1974 Suburban, and she’d be safe because those things are tanks!/ppIf it were me, I’d find a very large used car, one that either one of you can pay for with cash, and let her drive off into the sunset. But spend every second you can hugging and loving on your little boy. He’s going to need someone like you in his life./pp- Dave/ppstrongMobile home as an investment resource?/strong/ppDear Dave,/ppI’ve got a mobile home that I still owe $28,000 on that I use as a rental property. It sits on an acre of land that’s worth about $10,000, and I paid that off a few years ago. I’m thinking about refinancing the mobile home and going from an interest rate of 11.25% down to 8%. Do you think I should do this?/ppKaren/ppDear Karen,/ppI’d refinance the mobile home, but you’ve got a bigger issue here. Should you KEEP the mobile home? And the answer is no./ppRight now you’ve got a big chunk of cash wrapped up in something that’s going down in value like a rock. I’d sell that thing in heartbeat, Karen. Otherwise, you’re going to see $28,000 worth of mobile home turn into about $8,000 over the next few years. That’s not a good investment strategy./pp- Dave/ppstrongQuestions Dave’s ‘piles of cash’ comments/strong/ppDear Dave,/ppYou’re always talking about accumulating piles of cash. I’ve gone to church for several years, and the Bible says not to lay up treasures on earth. Doesn’t that mean that we shouldn’t accumulate wealth or be greedy?/ppGeorge/ppDear George,/ppThe Bible also says in Proverbs that in the house of the wise there are stores of choice food and oil. If you look back through Scripture, you’ll find that many of the major biblical characters were very wealthy people who understood they were not the owners of the money and wealth. They understood that their job was to manage these things properly for God’s glory./ppI can appreciate your concern, George, but when I talk about piles of cash my frame of reference is that we’re to handle our money and other possessions for good and for God. It’s not about greed or to use in buying bigger and better things for ourselves./ppBut you can’t do good if you don’t have the strengths to do good./pp- Dave/p pSee Also : a href=http://cerebral-palsy.diggyblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Cerebral PalsyCerebral Palsy/a a href=http://disaster.macpress.org/ rel=dofollow title=DisasterDisaster/a a href=http://exercise-equipment.diggyblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Exercise EquipmentExercise Equipment/a a href=http://maudenatal.envendee.com/ rel=dofollow title=http://maudenatal.envendee.com/http://maudenatal.envendee.com//a /p

pNobody really wants, or needs the best of anything. It doesn’t matter, whether it’s digital cameras, b automobiles/b, homes, or jet airplanes. What we really want and expect, is value for our money. If I’m going to spend $100 for a camera, then I better get $100 worth of features and quality from that camera. If I spend $1000 on a camera, then I better get $1000 worth back as well. If you follow a few simple rules, you’ll see how easy it is to get the best camera your money can buy./ppAcclaimed science fiction author Theodore Sturgeon was famous for a couple of adages known as Sturgeons Laws. My favorite, and the one most relevant to our discussion is, Ninety percent of everything is crap. It’s simple, direct and brutally honest. It also really helps narrow down our search. If the camera your looking at is not on at least one top ten list, then drop it from your search. If it doesn’t have at least a four star review from someone, then drop if off your list. There are so many cameras to choose from these days, there’s really no need to settle for anything less then the best./ppThe second step, and a little more effort intensive, is the trial run phase. You need to try out as many of the cameras on your now very short list (thanks to Theodore) as possible. Spend a day, and blitz your favorite camera stores. Go to two or three, and just annoy and pepper the sales staff with as many questions and requests as you can. If you go during off hours, you should have plenty of time and space to try out all the cameras you want. See if you can cajole them into letting you take a few home to try out. After this exercise, your short list should be really short. Maybe even a list of 1./ppOf course if the above seems like to much work for you slackers out there, here’s my short list of great cameras that are all money well spent. In the under $150 category, the Canon PowerShot A570IS. It’s a simple point and shoot with 4x zoom lens, image stabilization, and Canon reliability. For the portability minded ultra compact FaceBook crowd, you can’t go wrong with the Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph. Slightly less image quality then the A570IS, and slightly more expensive, but a very easy traveler. Another favorite compact of mine is the Olympus Stylus 790SW. The only waterproof, shockproof, dust proof, and freeze proof camera I know./p pRecommend : a href=http://www.fernstudiumde.com/ rel=dofollow title=WwwWww/a a href=http://cognosnetwork.com/net/patrickliles/ rel=dofollow title=http://cognosnetwork.com/net/patrickliles/http://cognosnetwork.com/net/patrickliles//a a href=http://deboracaver.jo.my/ rel=dofollow title=http://deboracaver.jo.my/http://deboracaver.jo.my//a /p
