You know it’s a winner when you have folks of all ages roaring with laughter from the next room. I walked in just in time to see Jonothan Frid keeping a deadly serious face stating he had to kill Julia…with a meddlesome fly buzzing onto his forehead! He had to continue the monologue with the fly buzzing to and from his forehead, to his cheek, to his forehead…you get the idea. We had tears streaming down our face laughing so hard!

Another scene has Jonothon saying “she is innocent until proven innocent.” You get the idea. And just watch them trying to say “sentamentality.” I couldn’t believe the other actors keep perfectly straight faces through it all! And the crew members ducking and running for cover has to be seen to be believed, in addition to people bumping their heads on doors and trying to continue on like nothing happened.

Even if you have never seen Dark Shadows, you’ll be holding your sides before it’s even a quarter of the way through. It’s a must have, trust me! (I think I’ve rated two things in a year as a five star in all the reviews I’ve done on many sites. This is only the third one!)

I grew up watching Dark Shadows and as a kid I never noticed the Bloopers. When I got this DVD I watched it with my sister who also was a Dark Shadows fan and we laughed our heads off. If you love Dark Shadows or if you just like good bloopers you will love this dvd. My favorite part is where the character Barnabas Collins can’t get rid of a fly that is on his nose! Lots of fun and brings back lots of good memories.
