I just got this one in the mail yesterday, and popped it into the player, and WOW! I own several of the other WavesDVD series videos, and they are all beautiful, scenic, and relaxing, but this new Blue-ray version just gives it a whole new light. You can see the grains of sand on the beach. It is like you could walk through the screen and into the ocean in Hawaii. I have a 65″ Panasonic Onyx, and this DVD really brings Hawaii to life when I play it.

I would consider myself an early adopter of technology, so I have had a Blu Ray player for quite some time. I have seen so many Blu Ray discs that appear average average or like a regular DVD. Others I have seen have been over produced, but not Hawaii Beaches- by WavesDVD.

I am a frequent visitor to the islands and relish any media that can “take me back” when I am on the mainland.
Before I purchased the Hawaii Beaches Blu Ray I visited the producers website, […] to see which islands the disc covered and to preview the content. The Blu Ray is awesome because it profiles various beaches from each island.
This disc is not overproduced and the sounds aren’t dubbed. It pure and feels like you are right there. Its the best 90 minutes of Blu Ray material there is. If you are a fan of the islands I highly recommend this disc.
