This Port Saver helps to put less stress on the internal ports of your devices. Very snug fit which will help to prevent HDMI connection problems of having cables come loose. If you are using the 24-guage HDMI wires, you will find they are very stiff and difficult to bend at the connector. I ordered a couple of these port savers because of the stress I noticed at the ports of my devices when trying to place my components. I have decided to order more port savers to have one for each port of each device that I am connecting with the 24-guage HDMI cables. Not sure if there is any signal loss, but I am certain the stress on my device ports has been reduced and my connections are easier to make.

Works great!
I’m using a DVI to HDMI cable so I can use my Sharp HDTV as a second computer monitor. The HDMI plug was loose and I was getting these awful green lines moving all over the screen. When I plugged it in through the port saver, my problem instantly went away. Now I have a perfectly clear 1080p picture!

I needed this cable to have easier access to the only HDMI port on my TV (i switch between DVD and PC sometimes). Cable works as it should.
WORKS GREAT
I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE, ONE FOR MY CABLE BOX AND ONE FOR MY BLU-RAY PLAYER. I SWITCH BETWEEN MY TV AND HOME THEATER PROJECTOR. USING THESE PORT SAVERS WILL DO JUST WHAT THEY WERE MADE FOR. I WOULD RATHER BUY ANOTHER ONE OF THESE THAN REPLACE MY PLAYER.
