This is a review of the DVD plot itself, as I assuming most of you already know the record and have possibly seen the TV note. This is a digitally remastered DVD with a stereo soundtrack and distinct crisp visuals.
It’s actually a two DVD location. The TV series, which is on the first DVD, is as arrive to a flawless reproduction as is currently possible. Behold it with the lights off to relish all the visuals and matte painting special effects that were available in 1981 with a shoestring budget. Additionally, this is a “must choose” honest for the second DVD alone. Outtakes and deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes footage, The Making of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, BBC Omnibus Tribute to Douglas Adams, and worthy more.
BBC Video has stepped up and hit a homerun with this DVD spot. Be distinct to look it with and recommend it to your friends. “Fragment and savor!”
The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy is one of those books that you would reflect there is no design that it could be done upright as a movie. Well guess what? IT HAS BE DONE!!!! This is a must have for EVERY “Hitchhiker’s” fan. Even if you never heard of the book,radio series, etc, and are a fan of british humor in the vein of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, you will worship this. The movie isn’t actually fair based on the book, Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, but is based on the 1st 3 books; The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy,The Resturant At The Destroy Of The Universe, and Life The Universe And Everything. Obvious the effects are indecent budget as hell, but that is all fraction of it’s charm.This is a comedy based on account not effects. I actually consider that the effects add to the humor. This is a classic and will always be a permanent allotment of my movie collection.I honest have one put a question to, WHEN WILL THIS Advance OUT ON DVD?!?!?
