Okay, I was a child in the 80’s and my whole family loved Star Wars, but I don’t remember watching it before I was 7 or 8 years archaic. My husband is a spacious Star Wars fan (not fanatic), and was snappy to introduce our shrimp boy to everything Star Wars. Our son, who’s 3 1/2 years worn now, loves watching the movies, but he’s honest not obsolete enough to fully understand some of the more scary/violent parts and I don’t like him sitting in front of the TV for a couple hours at a time.

This dvd is PERFECT for children. It is hosted by C-3PO and R2-D2 who recount and clarify each of the movies in 10 itsy-bitsy segments, showing highlights from each movie (except Episode 3 which hadn’t been released yet) . My boy loves it and asks to peep it almost every day, and it’s nice to have a Star Wars ‘movie’ that’s so favorable for children, PLUS we don’t have to be in the same room to speedily forward through any scary parts. I treasure it.
This is one of those rare items that has absolutely no reason to exist whatsoever. I got it at Wal-Mart for like, $3.00 when I bought Episode 3 on DVD, expecting it to be supplimental features explaining the history leisurely making the movies. I wasn’t expecting considerable since it was a “Wal-Mart unusual,” meaning it probably was leftovers that weren’t superb enough to manufacture the slash on the loyal DVDs, but unruffled, for an extra $3, I figured it was a gracious enough deal.

This is simply a video of C-3PO and R2-D2 telling an abbreviated version of the Star-Wars saga, with clips from the movie thrown in. It is obviously intended for children who have absolutely no taste. WHY Behold THIS WHEN YOU CAN Survey THE Actual MOVIES!?! Maybe in 10 years this will be a nifty collector’s gimmick like the Star Wars video board game, or the Star Wars Holiday Special, but if you’re hoping that this will actually scratch your Star Wars itch, contemplate elsewhere. The only other map I can recommend this disc is, is if you don’t appreciate your kids enough to give them the steady Star Wars movies.
