I have to say, I enjoyed this film very distinguished. I mean, I knew going in that it was going to be a cheesy anxiety film. Impartial survey at the hide, and you know that. And I was not disappointed. It was fun from the come by go with cheesy acting (although the woman who played the main character’s wife was very likeable in her role, a remarkable beefier fragment than in allotment 1), cheesy dialogue, and tons of gore (at least on the DVD. I hear the VHS is heavily lop) .

While this is a step down from portion 1, in sincere film grade and region compose, it realizes that from the obtain go. This one is ten times more self referential than the first one, and also lacks any disturbing scenes (Shannon Elizibeth in the bath tub was one of those scenes in the first one) but calm has BUCKETS of gore. I mean, this one has red stuff to spare. And the addition of the microscopic snow ball nasties was a nice touch. They were cute, and very fun to explore. If only they did more CG stuff with them. And on CG, I have to say, the puny bit that there was in this movie looked REALLY advantageous for such a cheap budget.

If ya liked the first one, check this out. If you haven’t seen the first one, look that instead. Then maybe check this out. Now will someone do a Jack Frost 3!

This is the record of the murderous snowman that has near assist from the monotonous (to the tropics? ) for reasons none other than revenge, on the man that imprisoned him in antifreeze the previous Christmas. Oddly enough, this movie is a lot of fun. The subject matter is unbiased ridiculous but the location moves along at a decent lumber, with plenty of splatter and lots of poor jokes and tongue-in-cheek humor.

This time the mutant killer snowman is in the tropics and he can exist in all the forms of matter. He needs his body parts befriend (eyes, nose, scarf) so with some creative script writing, he is able to derive these items with as distinguished gore as possible. He also has some assistance, because he has babies (snowballs) which he can project towards victims to claim their lives. Too great for you? Wait until you contemplate how Jack meets his demise. (And he was brought succor to life by coffee.)

For a movie of this caliber, Jack Frost 2 was sharp. Of course it was predictable but it is also very over the top and is definitely recommended for fans of B movie dismay and gore.
