If you want a less expensive version, without the plush toy, you can occupy Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Pixar it’s not. It lacks the texture, lighting and subtle nuance of a Pixar film. However, the computer animation is delicate genuine for a children’s video and you won’t be disappointed. There are several children’s videos that I like to seek with my kids. This particular video leaves me lukewarm. There are very few, if any, bits of humor for adults to bolster our flagging sanity. That said, it passes the most necessary test; the kids fancy it. Parents won’t gather it annoying (at least for the first 50 times they inspect it) .

My kids particularly like the musical bits. My five-year-old also likes the read along version of the new “Spookley” book on the bonus fraction. It’s lively that the book diverges SIGNIFICANTLY from the video.
My son has specifically asked to stare the bonus feature several times. It’s read by the same guy who sings “Monster Mash”, so gives the epic a very nice “Transylvania Twist”. Overall, I’m not disappointed I bought it for my kids.
My 3 1/2-year-old LOVES this movie. It is extremely cute and has some catchy tunes. It has a sweet, determined message. He adores holding the stuffed Spookley while they ogle the movie together. My 6-year-old daughter really likes the movie as well, though she is more enamored with the stuffed toy.
