It’s notable to effect that in July 2009, “THE TRANSFORMERS: 25th Anniversary “Matrix of Leadership” Edition Collector’s state was released and has 38 hours of command, the entire recent interesting “G1 series, many extras and a 16-DVD box state.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

The first season was originally released on DVD benefit in 2002 from Rhino but was criticized for its high label but most importantly for its problems. Rhino conventional the modern 35mm film masters which gave the series a great more vibrant stare but the plight was that the masters did not include the corrections that were shown on the final prick that aired on television and thus the episodes had incomplete animation. Relate quality also had problems with “jaggies” and featured modern sound effects that fans of the fresh series were not entirely very gay with.

This time around, for the 25th Anniversary release of the second season (Volume 1) on DVD, Bellow FACTORY was not definite to effect the same mistake. In the special tag segment of “THE TRANSFORMERS (More Than Meets the View) - Season Two, Volume One” booklet, the following was mentioned:

Transformers DVDs released prior to our 25th Anniversary Edition were missing animation seen in the unusual broadcast. We did extensive research, found the discrepancies between the novel broadcast masters and the restored masters feeble for the last DVD release, reinserted the fair animation and color corrected it as best as we could to match the shots before and after. But because a one-inch mater tape simply can’t acquire up to the quality of the restored masters, you may recognize occasional shots - or even scenes - in some episodes that seem slightly softer than others. Unprejudiced buy comfort in radiant that laser blasts have been reinserted, backgrounds have been corrected and Starscream is Starscream once again.

“THE TRANSFORMERS (More than Meets the Spy) - Season Two, Volume One” looks very splendid on DVD. I’ve seen a lot of 90’s animation gain it on DVD and many suffer from a softness that really brings out its age. Granted, you can announce the narrate quality is of an 80’s animation but it doesn’t sight soft. The animation does have a ample number of dust particles throughout the video but it’s not very distracting (although, I hope if the series does earn a High-Definition transfer, if it is possible, I do hope they do elegant the video up of the dust particles) . But otherwise, for an 80’s animation to ogle this worthy and better than many 90’s animation on DVD, is a major plus.

As for audio, audio is presented in Stereo. Dialogue is shipshape and easy to understand. For those with a home theater setup, I found it more stunning to have my receiver place to output at stereo on all channels.

Overall, each episode is restored to the fresh broadcast versions with a current stereo soundtrack created from the novel audio.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

“THE TRANSFORMERS (More than Meets the Leer) - Season Two, Volume One” surprisingly comes with no special features. I was hoping with season two, volume one that we would witness the toy commercials and other related “Transformers” special features but there are none. This release does reach with a synopsis booklet but that is about it.

JUDGMENT CALL:

Growing up with “The Transformers”, my brother and I were like most kids in the 80’s who were literally in esteem with the toys, the cartoon and funny books.

But moreso, being impressed with the technology that went into having a robot transforming into a car, an airplane, a gun, a dinosaur and an insect. It may seem commonplace now but succor then, it was an wonderful time to have these die-cast metal/plastic robots that transform, using the television series as a basis of what robots we wanted to secure (and hoped our parents would occupy) and have these all out battles.

The second season of “Transformers (More than Meets the Glance) ” was a season that I enjoyed for its introduction of many more Autobots and Decepticons (which translated into more toys being released at the time) and of course, more episodes with the Dinobots, Insecticons and Devastator. For the most fraction, the episodes are quite engaging and had a lot of interaction between the Autobots and Decepticons with humans but with that being said, some episodes were satisfactory and some seem like filler episodes (the time fade episodes, I could have done without) .

But I do feel that “Transformers” fans will savor this latest release from Roar! FACTORY for the fact that there are so many characters that I wouldn’t be surprised if fans got all nostalgic and remembered the toys they once owned or collect inspired to hunt down those archaic school “Transformers” on eBay.

Again, there’s nothing poor I can say about this release due to the mere negate and improper notice. If I had to really nitpick, definite I can wish for cleaned up video in the hope that thousands of instances of dirt, debris and scratches were removed (which I do hope they do if they intend to release the series again via High Definition) and I wish there were special features included on this release, it would have been gargantuan to glance more of the passe school Transformers toys.

But seriously, for 28 episodes and for a gigantic label, “THE TRANSFORMERS (More Than Meets the Recognize) - Season Two, Volume One” is highly recommended!

I would like to thank Weep Factory,a division of Rhino Records for releasing the 25th Anniversary Collection of Transformers Generation 1 on DVD.Rhino has always done a mammoth job with pulling out and restoring records and videos that went out of production years ago.All the Frank Zappa records and rarities. Now they are doing 1980’s G.I.JOE and Transformers animation.I understanding to steal up all the seasons of G.I.JOE and Transformers or impartial wait until both mega-sets advance out in November.

Yes they are available for pre-order on Amazon! The gift sets recognize awesome with all kind of goodies. Those releases are the complete series of Transformers and Joe.The Transformers Season One had some of the novel toy commericals from ‘85 and ‘86,but Season Two Fragment 1 does not.But it’s all genuine, you accept the first 28 episodes of season two because in 1985 Hasbro and Sunbow ordered more episodes.

Transformers was a blazing success and a money-making machine abet in “the day”.For years I wanted to acquire all the Transformers and GIJOE DVD’s on Amazon but they were all over-priced.Now these collections are very afffordable and nowadays I will never second guess purchasing them all. It’s like I missed my chance the first time due to some “personal decisions”. But if you are a hardcore Transformers fan like me and smooth like to re-live your glory days, then you understand me clearly.

So if you want these DVD’s then you better not hesitate picking them up on here on Amazon. The more exiguous they become, the more pricey they become. This definitely applies to all the unique 1980’s toys and their commemorative re-issues.Yell Factory/Rhino is doing a seamless job with restoring the color of the animation as well as missing scenes not in the originals. They cleaned it up a huge deal and corrected some petite errors.

You will be ecstatic if you have the factual audio set-up.These DVD’s do not sound fair on a 5.1 computer speaker system.I spy most of my DVD’s on my PC.But they absolutely rock on a 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound set-up.Transformers Generation One 25th Anniversary DVD’s are a celebration and perfect companion to the 25th Anniversary Collection of toys out in stores. Now we have another chance to acquire a share of nostalgia from our childhood. Now if you ask me,that’s honest straight-up bad-a**!
