I cant believe That “Ghidorah:The Three Headed Monster”, “Astro Monsters”, and now “Frankenstein Conquers the World” are all (after years of waiting) finally being released in the same month. The only cherry on the cake would be “War of the Gargantuas” but I dont want to seem too greedy.

This movie rocks!! Where else can you see a giant sized Frankenstein Monster fight another giant monster called Baragon? - I tell you No Where But Right Here My Friend!! Buy this little piece of wonderment, invite your friends over, drink many beers, and let yourself endulge on a buffet of monster madness!

Epic, landmark, stunning: there aren’t enough superlatives for these wildlife series. They are, very simply, the ultimate. If you, your family, or your children are interested in the natural world — and we all should be so interested — then these 17 discs are a dream come true: over 33 hours of the most awe-inspiring yet intimate views of the animals that occupy our earth, seas, and skies, together with fascinating facts about their lives, habitats, and amazing diversity.

The four series were photographed by hundreds of cameramen who spanned the globe for more than a decade to uncover the stories of every type of life, from the very small to the enormous, and narrated by Richard Attenborough, one of the world’s foremost naturalists and filmmakers. This bargain-priced compact set is the way to go, for after seeing one of these incredibly beautiful series, you will want them all.

Most famous, and justly so, is the series Planet Earth. Each episode focuses on the biota of a particular biome: mountains, fresh water habitats, caves, deserts, plains, icy regions, jungles, seas, forests, and oceans. The geology and seasonal changes of each zone are explored and documented with magnificent clarity, and exciting supplements take you into the making of the series, the cutting-edge technologies involved, and the astounding patience and death-defying efforts of the camera crews.

Planet Earth is the most recent series, the pinnacle of BBC nature programs, and the most wide-ranging and fascinating. Yet the previous series included in this set — The Life of Birds, The Life of Mammals, and The Blue Planet: Seas of Life — concentrate with far more detail on the creatures that occupy specific habitats. They are almost as good as Planet Earth, which is to say utterly spectacular, head-and-shoulders above every other nature series ever filmed.

I purchased this item when it was a Gold Box Deal of the Day for $69.99. What a deal this truly is. In my personal opinion any DVD that is narrated by David Attenborough is just AWESOME! This 17 disc set has some of the most facinating pictures and information regarding birds, mammals, oceans, jungles, forests, and many others. The DVD’s are very educational, if you have kids they should absolutely love these DVD’s. We love to watch DVD Box Sets that are about nature and animals. I am so glad that I purchased this item, as it shows so many pictures and areas that I have never visited or seen before. It is an enlighten show for the whole family. You will not be disappointed by purchasing this item. It is truly spectacular.

Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation improves on the first series by introducing occasionally stronger character based shows and situations. While Tasha Yar is missed, and to a lesser extent Doctor Crusher, we’re introduced to 2 new characters. Dr. Pulaski and Guinan. Personally I always enjoyed Pulaski shows, she was one of the only characters that brought a bit of conflict into the programme. There was never enough coming and going of new blood into the Star Trek series (either in front or behind the camera). Guinan (and the new location for her “Ten Forward” - a great setting for comedy/social moments) added more life and mystery into the show. It was a shame she wasn’t able to appear in more episodes in the later parts of the series (she does have a cameo role in Star Trek Nemesis).

The episodes themselves were extremely varied. Due to the writer’s strike, the season was cut short to 22 episodes rather than the full 26 ending with the appalling “bottle show”, ‘Shades of Grey’ (Plot summary: Riker in a coma and Deanna “looking worried” while Pulaski puts copious L.E.Ds on his forehead). “The Royale” was also truly terrible. There were some storming episodes though, the best being “Q Who.” This episode had everything: Q, the introduction of the Borg, Guinan, great special effects and a superb score by Ron Jones. Other great episodes were “Contagion” and “Time Squared”

This box set has everything you could wish for (that’s why I’m giving it 5 stars): remastered picture and Dolby Digital sound, one hour of new interviews and documentaries, and some really awesome DVD menus. Although seasons 1 and 2 aren’t the best you can’t really miss these, they are great foundation episodes with the DVD box sets given the care and attention they deserve.

The Icarus Factor - Riker has been promoted to command the USS Ares, but first he must deal with the problems between himself and his father.

Pen Pals - Data breaks the Prime Directive while communicating with a young girl on a distant planet, which is about to be destroyed by seismic disruptions.

Q Who - Q takes the Enterprise to another part of the galaxy to encounter the Borg.

Samaritan Snare - A Pakled vessel kidnaps Geordi and Picard’s goes in for heart surgery.

Up the Long Ladder - While Picard is rescuing one colony in the Ficus Sector from solar flares, he learns of a second colony comprised of a dying race of clones.

Manhunt - Picard hides in the holodeck in the Dixon Hill scenario because Troi’s mother shows up while undergoing “the Phase.”

The Emissary - A group of suspended Klingons are revived and set on attacking the Federation. A special emissary K’Ehleyr is called in to mediate a special problem she was a former love of Worf’s.

Peak Performance - The Enterprise is pitted against the USS Hathaway in war-games.

Shades of Gray - Riker’s body is invaded by a mysterious parasite and Dr. Pulaski’s only recourse seems to be the stimulation of his mind with memories.

Reelin’ in the Years, unlike many producers of music documentaries, actually “get it” and know that fans who care enough about an artist to buy such DVD’s want to the see COMPLETE songs, and this DVD delivers in that fashion as did their previous excellent Otis Redding set.

This DVD mixes rare interview footage of the underrated King of message-oriented Soul Music with recent interviews with his widow and his fellow Impressions Sam Gooden and Fred Cash (Jerry Butler is mnetioned, but does not appear). The surviving Impresssions have aged well and they share some interesting anecdotes. One in particular involves producer Johnny Pate (who also appears) talking the guys out of recording the original lyrics to the Curtis classic “We’re a Winner” (the finished song was banned by some pop stations in 1967 for supposedly being inflammatory) and Joey Bishop having to intervene to allow the guys to sing “Choice fo Colors” on his show in 1968. These songs lyrics are deep, but any controversy will escape those under 45 who are used to more strident stuff.

The vintage videos are indeed interesting. At a time when James Brown and Jackie Wilson’s histrionics and manic gymnastics on the stage brought the houses down, Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions were not big on choreography, but the lyrical content of the songs were such that audiences would actually sit quietly and listen to what they had to say before applauding (as is seen in the “We’re a Winner” clip from about 1967). In “This is My Country,” soon-to-be star Clifton Davis begins the tune with a powerful poem celebrating the relevance of CM&TI’s lyrics in articulating the concerns of Black America (note Fred Cash trying to cover his coughing during Davis’ poem). Too bad this doesn’t (yet) appear on any record.

The sets involving the songs from ‘Superfly” (post Impressions) are interesting to compare with his previous work. During “Freddie’s Dead,” Curtis’s band smokes (the conga player in particular), although fans of the original may miss the horns and strings that define the tune. Haters of Blaxploitation films and the effect they had on Black youth of the day (the Gangster rap/minstrel shows of the 70s) will be pleased to learn that Curtis also hated the film and wrote the music to show the true tragedy of the drug lifestyle that “Stupidfly” celebrated.

In either case, it’s a history lesson with a beat that you can dance to. Buy it, learn, and enjoy.

Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions didn’t just make music, they sent

great sounding and universally useful social messages and it’s no exaggeration to say their records were the true heart and soul of many a disc collection. (Just mention the name Curtis Mayfield and a deep warm feeling arises in nearly anyone who has ever heard and been moved by he and they.)

This splendid DVD overview of Curtis, Fred and Sam was long overdue. In addition to welcome video footage including Germany’s legendary Beat Club, the Joey Bishop show, “In Concert”, some corny Dick Clark staging and much more we get to witness Mayfield’s impact be given a proper and fitting perspective from those who were there.

Hearing the Curtis story from the mouths of his wonderful wife Altheida, surviving Impressions Fred Cash and Sam Gooden, Andrew Young, producer Johnny Pate and musicians Carlos Santana and a revealingly impressive Chuck D we learn of ths history, impact, and driving force behind the sound on both the personal and macro levels. And as many of us have always known, that driving force was Curtis’s deep love for not just music but for humanity, which, through composition he aimed to bring together.

Bravo to the director, producers and interviewer for this labor of love and gift to fans and will be fans. The gospel of Curtis and company is one that, even now, could benefit our world.Plus his music had a beat..and you could dance to it-even when you danced,as sometimes evidenced here, horribly!

“Cotton Comes to Harlem” is a solid, funny, and most of all, cool movie which was, besides “Shaft” and “Coffy,” to set the trend of the black movies of the 70s. Look how Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St. Jacques walk and talk, and you’ll know the meaning of “style.”

Based on Chester Himes’s novel, the film follows the two super-cool cops who suspect that Rev. O’Malley’s “Back to Africa” campaign (minimun entry 100 dallors needed) is a fraud to steal money from people living in Harlem. But things get complicated when, during the rally, the organization is attacked by masked gangsters who took the money of $87,000, and that was done under the nose of the very cops. Determined to nail the criminal, and possibly the preacher himself, the detective Gravediffer & Coffin start their investigation, and do it in their own fashion.

The film keeps the fast pace with a tightly knit web of characters including Reverend’s beautiful wife Iris. But most charming part of the film remains the same today: its being funny and smart. In fact, you will see among violent actions suddenly unexpected humor. The best thing of the film is, in my book, the car chase scene that include “the cemetary chase” and “a flying guy.” The film also ends with a showdown in the Apollo Theater (though I don’t know whether the inside scene of it was really shot there) And the real Harlem locale of the 70s, which helps to create the authentic atomospher, would be someday a precious record of the New York City.

In short, this is a film Quentin Tarantino with his known flair for characters and story might have shot 30 years ago. Some part of the film look, I admit, dated today when you see women’s parts are little better than secondary, just catering obligatory sex scenes. Still, those scenes have been given slight touch of humor, that might almost compensate for the lack of the screen goddess like Pam Grier. Buy this one, along with “Coffy” and “Shaft” and perhaps “Across the 110th Street.” That makes a quick course of learning what the blaxploitation films are all about.

Those two main charaters are to reappear in “Come Back Charlston Blues,” which is, unfortunately, not as good as this one.

Seeing Judy Pace in this movie is worth the price of admission alone! The movie itself has an interesting storyline and it does bounce around a little but is definately entertaining. This movie isn’t as cliche as many of the other films in this genre. There are some good chase scenes and it was interesting to see Redd Foxx pre ‘Sanford and Son’. I would consider this one of the most important movies of the blaxploitation genre.

As I write this review, just after the end of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, the future of the show is very uncertain. The ratings after the show’s move to Friday night in February 2009 were never strong, although it persistently ranked #1 among shows having the largest percentage of their viewers watching via DVR. The brute fact is that TSCC did not lack for viewers; it lacked for live viewers during broadcast.

I hope very much for a Season Three of TSCC. This was easily one of my favorite shows for the 2008-2009 season. When it was on Monday nights, I watched it live rather than either CHUCK or GOSSIP GIRL, two shows that I enjoy. When it moved to Fridays I intentionally stayed home to watch it (and then for six glorious weeks DOLLHOUSE and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, for what was perhaps the finest nights of TV I’ve ever experienced). Although the show lagged a bit just after its midway point (unfortunately right when it moved to Fridays), it remained persistently fascinating for the entire year. If I had access to a button that would allow me to choose between either having the upcoming film TERMINATOR SALVATION or TSCC vanishing, then we would never have the movie but would get a Season Three of the TV series. My preference is based on a love of character development and a richly articulated story, neither of which is possible in a 120-minute movie. Besides, most movies quickly degenerate into a special effects extravaganza, and the previews of TERMINATOR SALVATION definitely leads one to fear that that is precisely what we will get this summer.

I do have a couple of complaints with the TV series. I think that the writers sometimes allowed it to drag a bit in Season Two. And while I’ll grant that “Sarah Connor” was in the title and that John Connor is ultimately the crucial character in the Terminator saga, far and away the most interesting character on TSCC was Cameron. Most of the weaker episodes were notable for having little or no Cameron. Most of the truly great moments on the show had Cameron front and center.

Let me interrupt myself to insist that if you DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED, to not read any futher!

Season One focused primarily on tracking down the possessors of a computer with an advanced AI named “The Turk” (the name alluding to a famous 18th century chess playing machine in the shape of a Turkish male that vanquished many opponents before it was revealed that it was a hoax, a chess master actually hiding inside the machine). That apparently accomplished, Sarah, John, and Cameron embarked on a series of clues that led them to the ZeiraCorp, headed by a shape shifting terminator played by Garbage lead singer turned actress Shirley Manson. One of my favorite things about Season Two is that for nearly the whole season we are led to believe that Catherine Weaver (Manson) is an evil Cyborg. After all, she kills numerous individuals and resurrects deceased evil Cyborg Cromartie to serve as the body for John Henry, the super computer that her company is building. But in the season (series?) finale she is revealed to be on the side of the angels. Or is she? Given an easy opportunity to kill John and Sarah, she not only does not do so, but saves their lives. And both John and Sarah seem to take her at her word. All season long viewers had been looking forward to a Weaver/Cameron encounter, but instead we see Weaver insisting that she is fighting SkyNet, just as they are. The whole plot is further complicated by Cameron apparently refusing Weaver’s offer to join her cause. The fact is that at the end of the season Cameron and her agenda remains a total mystery.

For the past year I’ve been engaged in a detailed study of robots in the history of myth, literature, film and television. TV robots and Cyborgs have been widely prevalent but also not terribly complex. I deeply love a character like Sharon Agathon on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, but Sharon is so clearly human - even if a Cyborg - that she doesn’t really challenge our understanding of human/robotic relationships. She looks like us, acts like us, and feels like us. It is difficult to say in what significant sense that she isn’t as much as a person as any human. Cameron is perhaps the most complex, challenging robot/Cyborg we’ve ever seen on TV. Summer Glau brilliantly portrays her as something both more than and less than human, something undeniably strange and “other.” She apparently lacks feelings, yet definitely has her own motivations. She is a machine, yet at times seems eerily human, such as taking pains over her toe nail polish or practicing ballet. She even tries, in one Season Two episode, to make a friend of her own. Seeing her make her very odd overtures to a wheelchair bound guy is one of the strangest things on the show, including her telling him that the cancer that he previously suffered from has returned. Though she intends it kindly, she doesn’t grasp why her telling him something that she shouldn’t be able to know and that he finds so emotionally devastating effectively ends their friendship. Even odder is that the sudden ending of their relationship seems to have no impact on her. There is absolutely no question that within the next half-century robots will begin to play an increasingly important social role in human life. In Japan especially scientists are working hard on companion robots for children and for the elderly. It is impossible to imagine that they will not also play a role with many other humans as friends (most people consider their dogs to be friends and they can’t talk like robots are on the verge of being able to) and even romantic companions. Cameron is the only robot on TV that I know of that raises many of the questions about robot/human relations that will be increasingly pertinent in the coming decades. If TSCC is not renewed for a third season, ending Cameron’s story will be one of the great losses on the show. At the end of Season Two she remains a complete mystery. I personally want that mystery resolved.

Though we didn’t need additional proof of it, TSCC is yet another example of the fact that there is absolutely no connection between quality, viewership, and renewal in American television. It is further proof of just how broken commercial TV is. The brute fact is that TV series are, from the corporate point of view, vehicles for commercials. If they provide a platform for a large number of people to see the commercials that are the economic heart of the shows, they are in the eyes of the networks great shows. Absolutely dreadful shows like TWO AND A HALF MEN or the endless police procedurals on CBS illustrate this. I’ve never seen a respected TV critic with a kind word for TWO AND A HALF MEN, yet it remains the most watched half hour comedy on television. Thus, it is the best platform for advertising. PUSHING DAISIES was cancelled at midseason despite more critical acclaim than any other series on the four major networks. Perhaps for fans of television the major networks have outlived their usefulness. If they can’t find a place for a show as fine as TSCC on their schedules, it is proof that TV is broken. FOX eats up huge gobs of its schedule with the unceasingly awful AMERICAN IDLE while NBC has eliminated five hours of scripted TV in the 2009-2010 schedule so that they can hand it over to the untalented and uninteresting Jay Leno.

But it isn’t the networks that are to blame. It is the American TV viewer. As long as we tune in to AMERICAN IDLE, various reality dancing shows, TWO AND A HALF MEN, and police procedurals, they are going to keep giving us crap. I am a radical on this. I actually think that there is an ethics of TV viewing. I honestly believe it is immoral to watch 20/20 or TWO AND A HALF MEN and that it will be unconscionable to watch Jay Leno’s new series. Or if you must watch these horrible shows, at least DVR them. As long as they are the best vehicles for commercials, we are going to continue to lament the cancellation of the better shows and the unceasingly continuation of critically unacclaimed and artistically empty series.

The one reason for hope for TSCC is the film TERMINATOR SALVATION, which is likely to be the biggest box office hit this summer. This past year Warner Brothers negotiated a smaller licensing fee with FOX, which was a factor in its renewal. Perhaps the film in combination with a similar deal from Warner Brothers could lead to another season. We can hope.

Season 1 of TSCC blew my expectations away at its fresh approach to the Terminator saga. The first 2 episodes were less than stellar and unfortunately caused many people to discontinue watching it before it got progressively better with each subsequent episode until it became FANTASTIC by season’s end. James Ellison became my favorite character as he has a totally different take on the events that transpire than any of the other characters and introduces biblical prophecy into the mix of what is to come.

Season 2 has been a more personal study of the different characters and at the same time an enigma. After watching these characters for an entire season you actually find out WHO they really are in Season 2 and how they developed into their current personalities. We even find out about Cameron’s(John Connor’s Terminator Protector) backstory and even about the human she was modelled after. Instead of understanding her (it)better, the writers took the opposite approach that they did with the other character reveals and she actually becomes MORE of a mystery, especially in the season finale. It was sad to see a couple of supporting characters die in the latter episodes, but their storylines had pretty much hit an obvious plot wall. I just wished that one of the character’s demise had been more sacrificial or at least a little more heroic. But, its the Terminator and somebody ALWAYS dies…

Shirley Manson’s character (Catherine Weaver) plays a major role in the second season. As Season 2 progresses, you realize that there is something completely different about her behavior than the rest of the Terminators. Even though its obvious that she is a T-1000 (liquid metal Teminator from T2) she seems to have another another agenda than just eliminating Skynets potential enemies (if she even IS working for Skynet ;-) ). Its interesting to see her interact with Savannah (her human daughter) and how she realizes that Mommy doesn’t behave like she should or like she remembers. And the plot twist in the season finale is jaw-dropping and Awesome. At the same time it creates more questions than it answers. I’m really looking forward to Season 3 (FOX willing) and seeing plot questions answered and the pieces come together for John’s maturity into the John Connor we know will lead the resistance and help save human beings from extinction.

With the upcoming movie series “Terminator Salvation” I think there will be enough positive buzz to entice Fox to venture forward with at least 1 more season of this very popular series that has a definite cult like following…

“We were that close to going out for ever. But there was one man who taught us to fight. To storm the wire of the camps. … He brought us back from the brink. His name was Connor. John Connor. Your son Sarah…” ~ Kyle Reese

Admittedly, I’ve only watched disc 1 thus far! I bought both Seasons 1 and Season 2, but Season 2 has the episodes I mainly remember from my childhood and are my favorites! In fact the “The Haunted Mine” episode is so great that I’ve spent years trying to find it, but it was so good that I remembered it as a live action movie instead of just an episode of this cartoon series! That episode alone is worth the price of the DVD set itself! The title episode for this set “All The Gory Details” turned out to be my favorite episode I mainly remember this show for (other than “The Haunted Mine” which was a surprise bonus, I mean, I hoped it could be that story I remembered, but I really remembered it being live action…which now I think might be because it’s thus far the only episode not centered around young kids, the youngest people in it are at least driving age, the characterization is top notch, and the plot is truly memorable). This set has vampires, Frankenstein-like monsters, Were-Fish, the Grim Reaper with a zombie basketball team, a very touching ghost story (that scared the heck outta me as a kid, but now it’s not as scary despite being incredibly well done), and more. Like I said, this is just the first disc I’m reviewing because I haven’t gotten to the second one yet!

The only annoying thing about this season is that some stories are shorter (but you get two per episode) and the addition of the Vault Keeper and the Old Witch trying to steal the show from the Cryptkeeper. Though when somebody other than the Cryptkeeper tells the story you do get some really good episodes, like “All The Gory Details” and “The Haunted Mine” which are told by the Vault Keeper. The Old Witch serves up the story of the were-fish, and of the basketball game against the Grim Reaper. The first season was alright, but this second season is a must have and is absolutely top notch quality!

Ok, first of all, the movie is done as well as it could have been. It does leaves out some facts that the book felt was important to include. But miniscule things must be omitted. They did the best job possible that they could have done to eliminate less important plot lines. The opening scenes could have been allowed more time, and made it feel less rushed, but it worked out well. The acting in this movie is a definite improvement over those last 3 movies. You will applaud Daniel Radcliffe’s performance. Emma Watson is as much of an amazing actress as she has always been, and I still think that she is underused. Her scenes at the Yule Ball were awe-inspiring. The effects, visual and CG, are amazing. You can feel as if you are there right now. Ralph Fiennes plays Voldemort beautifully and sends chills down your spine and makes you loath him from his first second on screen. Miranda Richardson really hit the nail on the head with Rita Skeeter. Her scenes are some of the funniest of the entire movie. The Director of this installment of the highly successful Harry Potter series was Mike Newell. He does an outstanding job. There are some scenes that are so cinematically amazing. The overall feel of the film is without a fast-paced action thriller. You fear for Harry’s life every second of the film. I was thoroughly impressed with this film, and with the fifth book being my favorite, I am praying that the film works wonders.

Deleted Scenes

SCENE 1: Dumbledore ask to his pupils to welcome the Durmstrangs and Beauxbatons students. All the Hogwart students then start to sing Hoggy Hoggy Hogwarts or the school song.

SCENE 2: A Durmstrangs student asks a girl if she wants to go with him to the Yule Ball. She says “yes” and the two friends make gestures in the background.

SCENE 3: Harry tries to speak with Cho Chang, but her friends are around her and the opportunity never works out .

SCENE 4: At the Yule Ball, Flitwick introduces the Weird Sisters band. The star singer addresses the crowd and then the music begins.

SCENE 5: Karkaroff tell to Snape about the mark on his arm. Snape ignores him and removes points to Fawcet and Stebbins, who are briefly shown, and Snape disregards Karkaroff’s concerns then.

SCENE 6: Mr. Crouch and Harry are speaking, then Madeye appears as Barty leaves.

SCENE 7: The trio speaks about the death of Mr. Crouch. Ron thinks that the Daily Prophet will cover it up on Fudges orders. Hermione believes that this death, Harrys burning scar, and the fact that the Dark Mark had been cast , are too much of a coincidence, and she thinks Harry should go talk to Dumbledore about all of this.

SCENE 8: The trio discuss their suspicions about what Karkarov has on his arm. Hermione asks Harry what ingredients Snape think he stole from him, and she relises that they are all ingredients in a polyjuice potion.

Games, AND MUCH MORE

P.S. It doesn’t matter that Hermione’s dress is Pink instead of Blue. It does matter that Harry’s eyes are supposed to be green, when they are Blue in the movies!

In this forth instalment in the ever popular Harry Potter series based on the novel by JK Rolwling we see Harry mature in many ways, he must over come three deadly tasks, face a fully formed Lord Voldermort and possibly the most horrifying task of all for the 14 year old Harry, he must get himself a date for the Yule Ball!

The performance of the trio in the Goblet of Fire is amazing, every scene seemed to be executed perfectly and the on screen chemistry between the young stars is evident. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) reaches new heights in this movie perfectly portraying the uncomfortable adolescent Harry has become; he faces the new emotional roles in the movie with confidence and enthusiasm, like wise for Radcliffe’s young co-stars Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) Once again we see terrific performances from the likes of Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) and Robbie Coltraine (Hagrid) as well as meeting some new faces amongst the students, including students from two other magical academies who join the students at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry to participate in the Tri-Wizard Tournament! Another highlight of this marvellous movie is Ralph Fiennes’ portrayal of Lord Voldermort which can be rather alarming even to an adult!

I believe this movie to be of an excellent standard not only due to the charismatic trio, but also thanks to the special effects of this movie. We see many fascinating creatures including a ferocious fire breathing dragon (which Harry must fight armed with nothing but his wand!) and while watching you can truly forget that these creatures were created using blue screen and you can honestly believe that you are in this world, that it truly exists just behind closed doors. This is very true to the novels making this a movie every Potter fan can enjoy and indeed fans of spectacular plots and mind-blowing special effects alike can appreciate this, making the Goblet of Fire a movie for all the family! Overall I would call this movie riveting and n absolute gem of the movie world. You do not want to miss this brilliant piece of film history, no DVD collection would be complete with out it! Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire amazing 5 stars!

I have watched this several times-and have been to a couple of the places myself as a paranormal investigator. Ronald James did an outstanding job, aided by the gifted Robbie Thomas and the other very talented investigators from Indiana Ghost Trackers!
