The movie “Meetings With Considerable Men”, is, in my concept, one
masterpiece. Too many people may disagree, because the movie do

not reveal the “greatness” of Hollywood superproductions, the dvd
is one remaster earn an venerable material (in fact it has only one
chapter, awful menus, and no further material) . The hurry of the
movie, some may say, it’s too slow, but, as i say in the

beginning, it’s a movie to the sensible and inteligent people.
The movie have too many aspects not immediately perceivable,
that needs more than one single conception.
The movie also catches the atmosphere of the singular world of
the people from central asia and middle east.
Besides some defects of the movie in terms of pure technical
sense, the message and concepts of the movie talks to the heart
of the whatcher.
After many years of waiting-there it is,finally made it to DVD!
One of the best films ever.
The music is worth an award.Then the locations are something you don’t secure to view often.And some of the actors are unprejudiced amazing in their authenticity.
It might not be everybodys cup of tea and certainly was never a very commercial movie but the depth and insight into the subject is improbable.It sort of creates that particular longing to free the knowledge that resides in all of us about who we are and what it is that really matters and that will lead us home.
The book ist quiet better as there is more in it, but nevertheless this movie is it’s hold version and interpretation that can encourage us to derive in touch with this subject in an additional and graceful scheme.
Along with “Circle of Iron”(David carradine) and the movies of Alejandro Jodorowsky this is one of the best of this genre and surely one you will not forget so easily again.
