I’ve looked at all 6 volumes and loved everyone of them. Even though I loved them, the ending left me a little baffled. Did she go with Melan or did he stay? Inquiring minds want to know, mine….

But all the same I loved it!

After watching the whole series I have to say that it’s an emotional rollercoaster. Not only does this anime have a cast of characters that are bizarre and strange, it also take them and does something different with them entirely. I’ve never seen an anime like this one, and I don’t think I ever will. While it does have mecha in it and sci-fi, it’s not your typical Gundam. Over the course of the anime we see the main character Melan Blue and Marin form a bond, despite both of them being vastly different.

This is also an anime that explains everything and doesn’t give you this feeling that even after watching the whole thing you came away with less. I will say that the ending is both happy and sad and that it maybe be spoilers, but everyone lives. So, if you avoid anime that kills off half of the characters, don’t worry. There are no deaths in this one that you feel cheated on and keep asking “why person had to die” like other anime (especially ones by CLAMP).

I also like the ending, to where you know what happens to the characters, however you can still draw your own conclusion as to what happens.

The only bad part I can think of to this anime is that it is so unique, that it can’t be done again, even though I’d like to see something similar to it, and that to make something like it would just be to diminish what this accomplished.
